Targeting the same community of Kafr Takharim district, this 4-month long new phase of the program has three main groups of activities: PSS, Protection and Mine Action. Furthermore, due to the COVID pandemic, there is now an added challenge to deal with the physical and psychological effects of the lockdowns. The activities are enhanced to deal with this aftermath and reduce its effect on the individuals as well as on the community.
The project will benefit over 300 people of all ages (190 from PSS, 135 from Protection, 35 from Mine Action).
The project has a range of activities in the areas of GBV Awareness, General Protection, Life Skills, Sports, Arts, and Mine Actions. The activities are conducted using various methods suitable to age and gender, including community sessions, one-to-one therapy sessions, group discussions, and dialog clubs. For the younger age groups, there is the DUY, Puppet Theatre, Aflateen Adventure, and Painter Uncle. For adults, there will be a chess tournaments, DIY, nutrition classes, and Sports Clubs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
